FAQs

Do I have to book in advance?
Yes please.

The meeting point is not on your website, how do I find it?
Once you are booked and paid you will receive confirmation email. Routes change, so we will send out the meeting place, the name and mobile for your guide a week in advance. The meeting point is always accessible and in the city centre.

Do you charge a booking fee to book online?
No, there are no hidden extras, all booking fees, insurance etc are included.

Do you cater for vegetarians or gluten free?
Yes, we cater for all dietary requirements, please just let us know in advance.

What happens if it is raining?
We walk in all weather, just dress appropriately.

How long do the walks last and what sort of distance is involved?
The walks are usually 2.5-3  hours in length and we take a relaxed and leisurely pace.

How many do you take on each walk?
For everyone’s enjoyment, we strictly keep the group to a maximum of 12/14 people. If you have more in your party, don’t worry, we can split the group and arrange to meet up along the way in some of the bigger place and at the end of the tour!

What is your cancellation policy?
We look for 10 days notice of cancellation. See our Payment and Cancellation Policy page for further information.

Can I book a private tour or a tour for a group of friends?
Absolutely, just contact us directly at bookings@fabfoodtrails.ie. We can do private or group tours any day of the week, morning or afternoon, except Sundays.

If we purchase a gift voucher, do we have to nominate a date?
No, you can leave it open for the recipient to choose both the date and the walk they would like to do.

Where do you visit?
Each tour we visit a cross-section of six different places where you taste something delicious at each stop. We don't like to ruin the surprise so can say no more!
