CORK WALKING TOURS: CORK TASTING TRAIL

Where We Go

Our Cork Trail is a relaxed but highly-focused walking tour with an engaging and experienced guide. It appeals to a broad range of people from enthusiastic foodies to those who want to see and taste the best of Cork.

We bring people to places that are off the usual food route and our tastings are generous and frequent. We visit different markets, cheesemongers, fishmongers, butchers, bakers and more and meet the people who produce some of the best food in Ireland. As we stroll, we point out the interesting architecture along the way and give a little of the history of the city.

Our Trails are the ideal way for visitors and locals who want to experience the best of Cork, the Food Capital!

Tastings

Our gentle 2.5-3 hour culinary walk has lots of stops (and yes, the English Market is one of those stops but there are lots of others too!) with frequent, generous tastings along the way. We point out good places for lunch, dinner or a pint, though after all the tastings you won’t need lunch for a little while after this tour.

We cater for vegetarians and all dietary requirements. Just please let us know in advance.

Reviews

‘Even for one that had done more than his fair share of walking (and eating) around the city of Cork, Fab Food Trails proved something of an eye opener. Alice… was our excellent guide.’

Corkbilly (Billy Lyons)

‘…brings an outsider’s perspective to the 2.5 hour Saturday morning tour of street stalls, shops, pubs and restaurants all conducted at a nice, civilised pace. …there could be pleasant surprise in store even for native Corkonians.’
